What works perfectly right now is modifying local git repositories: - look at all the git structures in a repository - modify the structures (add commits and files) missing is push and pull support due to the lack of a proper protocol implementation ;) > Right now I was only interested in using a github-hosted project (Ratpack) :-) then FileTree is definitely your choice :)

Right now I was only interested in using a github-hosted project (Ratpack) :-)

Stackoverflow - for raising mindshare?

Hello fellow Squeak/Pharo users, at work I find stack-overflow a quite valuable resource whenever I get stuck with something (Java, Ruby, Unix, etc.). What do you think about the idea of using it more, so that: - people starting with Smalltalk can find answers there apart from digging in the mailing-lists - raising the awareness/mind-share about open-source Smalltalk in the "outside world"? I for one will try to double-post my questions both in the corresponding mailing lists and stack-overflow, and whenever I find good information that might be helpful for newcomers, I'll try to post it there also. It might help attracting more people to open-source Smalltalk and gain more acceptance in the industry. Best regards, Sebastian

Process-specific variables

Hello Pharoers, I was trying to load a package apparently written for an earlier version of Pharo (Ratpack, from http://ss3.gemstone.com/ss/RatPack.html into Pharo 1.4). There I got deprecation warnings about `environmentAt:put:` not being supported for `Project`. The way to go, according to the documentation, is to use `ProcessSpecificVariable`. There are two individual memberships - Individual Pharo Association Member: Yearly fee 40 Euros - Golden Individual Pharo Association Member: Yearly fee 99 Euros where do I send this amount to online or is it any other mode.
