You posed a valid question, Martin. I , personally, don't like it too, that MC logic queries all known repositories before comitting new version into any other one. I think a mid-term solutiion for you would be to remove the remote repository from the list of project's known repositories and leave only local one. Then MC will have no reason to try accessing them. Problem working offline with monticello, after project was loaded from web-repository.

I can no longer commit to a local monticello repository after i have loaded the project from smalltalkhub: Reproduce: 1) Take a new image, load a project from Smalltalkhub. 2) Go offline 3) Try to save a new version to a local disk repository. => I see two ProgressBars: 1) Creating unique version number 2) Loading all filenames from http://smalltalkhub.com/... And i see a Dialog: "NameLookupFailure: cannot resolve 'smalltalkhub.com'" that asks me: Retry or Give up. => Retry leaves me with the same Dialog again, Give up hangs the image beyond any attempt to revive it. Would someone create a CollaborActiveBook Team on Smalltalkhub?

I wanted to update the Archetype Polymorph Application chapter on CollaborActive book to use the new LayoutFrame API and i wanted to update the example code accordingly. At the moment the example code is at Squeaksource. Hilaire Fernandes said i could update and migrate his code to SmalltalkHub. Hi. Almost always I use a vps with Centos or Scientific Linux to deploy Seaside webapps, and often I get problems with ssl plugin and I never remember what happens and how fix it, and waste time in this! So better feedback on problems is always welcome :) May be make (the community) a little "how to" and show it in some place in pharo site? Well, I documented the steps that I do (in very raw form, comment the commands would good), from discovering the problem to solve. Hi, I also had trouble installing 1.4. On my Ubuntu 12.04 64bits, a number of libraries were missing (starting with lib32). I had a cascade of error messages, but googling the message itself yielded a solution in each case. Unfortunately, I don't remember which modules I had to download.
