Hi michael I discussed with guille and pablo and they told me that this happens to them from time to time and this is related to libgit. Guille said that they do not succeed to reproduce it. They hope that moving to libgit1.0 will fix that problem. We are worried about this and we would love to have a reproducible case. S

[OffTopic] Software inventory software

Hi Everybody! Sorry for the offtopic. I am relying on the fact that I can find here people from different companies having the kind of problem we are suffering today. Can any body point me to a solution for software inventory? We are looking for a software that allow us to track down product/project information such as language, development dependancies, where is the code?, associated products, deployment dependancies, hardware / platform requirements ,etc. I have been searching on google and others without much success, mostly falling on products that solve partially the problematic, and that come with a large infrastructure to solve problems that we do not have. Such as system center et cia. Do you have any clue of good options for solving this problem? (Rather than having a document x product, that is what we have now). Santiago

ExternalLibraryFunction(Object) can't find libgit2.so

MacOS â> Parallels -> Centos â> Pharo 8.0 Iâm trying to import an empty repository in Iceberg. I created a repos on GitHub, then made a local clone in Terminal. Now, when importing I get a progress bar âImporting repository from /home/Michael/â¦ It makes no progress and I immediately get the debugger. The top of the stack is ExternalLibraryFunction(Object) and the message is: "<cdecl: long 'git_repository_open' (void* char*) module: '/home/michael/Pharo/vms/80-x64/lib/pharo/5.0-202002121043/libgit2.soâ> â self I see that yum has already installed libgit2.x86_64. But this is looking for the file in Pharoâs vms/80-x64, and it is there: [michael@localhost /]$ ls -l /home/michael/Pharo/vms/80-x64/lib/pharo/5.0-202002121043/libgit2.so -rw-r--r--. 1 michael michael 3203664 Feb 12 06:07 /home/michael/Pharo/vms/80-x64/lib/pharo/5.0-202002121043/libgit2.so Is there a workaround or a fix?

Moving a Pharo window under Centos

Iâm trying out Pharo on Centos. Since I donât have a spare PC that I can install Centos, I installed on my Mac under Parallels. Centos runs fine, and I was able to install latest Pharo 8.0. With any other windows under Centos I can grab the title bar, move it, then drop it where I like. However, inside Pharo, any window I grab by the title bar, though it moves to follow my cursor, Does not drop when I let up on the mouse. Iâm then stuck where all I can do is drag that window around but never drop it. For some reason when I Cmd-tab away to a Mac App, then move the cursor back to Pharo it only rarely fixes the problem. Anybody else run Pharo under Centos, under Parallels? Anybody else seen this? Is there a fix or a workaround?
