Hi Marcus, It seems you're trying to define a matcher on the query parameters. It's not going to work. An url consist of path a the query part. These are separeted by a question mark. http://localhost:1701/foo/bar?q1=xx&q2=yy In this example /foo/bar is the path, and q1 and q2 are the query params. When you define a route in Teapot you specify the path part (either with wildcards or with regexp). Teapot will select the matching route when a request comes in based on the path part, and it will parse the query part (in fact Zn does this), and make the query parameters accessible in the request object. For example GET: '/foo/bar' -> [:req | req at: #q1] This matches to an url whose path part is /foo/bar, even if there is no query part, or if it has many query parameters. In your example, you've defined the query part in the matcher, but since it is not part of the incoming url, you've got 404. But if you share what you're trying to accomplish I may be able to help. Hi Joachim, As I mentioned in a previous post, all Pharo Exceptions are swallowed during a dispatch from Java. This means that during a callback from Java to Pharo, you also cannot debug. >From the looks of things, I see the issue is here: JavaCallbackRegistry>>safeDispatch: aRequest to: a2Block "private -- invoke the handler for aRequest in an environment that will ensure that some sort of response is always sent back to the requester. Helloooooo :) First Tomasso, it's nice to know it's working well for you :). We need feedback and contributions, even the smallests (like docs, or blogposts with your experiences or tutorials). Answering your question, GarageGlorp does not yet use the cursors from the Garage drivers. I do not know what exactly should be added to the Glorp's GarageAdapter, maybe we can take a look at it if you are available. For the rest: *OpenDBX* -> it is a database abstraction written in C. It was developed outside the community, though we contribute if necessary. There is also a driver in Pharo providing bindings against this opendbx library. *Garage* -> a database abstraction in Pharo. Hi, To add a configuration in the catalog, first you should have a configuration for your project. You can create it with the versionner if needed. Second, you have to add some methods adding meta-description to your project. The versionner do it for you: in the configuration list, select your project, do a right click and select add catalog methods. It creates all the mandatory methods for the catalog. You now have to fill them (look at the class side of the configuration). Finally, commit your configuration on your repo and on the MetaRepoForPharo30/40/50 depending where your project is working. Well...there is when you find out that simple persistency solutions may start being a problem for you. Most of the times is as Joachim says, that is, the synchronism of data is managed by the persistency solution. Could be mongo (but I never tried with multiple images), could be Glorp, GemStone, Magma, etc. I the last years I've been doing the "develop on Pharo and deploy on GemStone" and I am very very happy with it. GemStone does have quite some tools to reduce even more the commit conflicts. For example, it provides "Reduced Conflicts" collection classes, that for example allow concurrent adding/removing/iteration things (depending on which class) from multiple VMs... It also provides locks you can manually ask/release, thought this is not common. In addition, the GLASS version of GemStone and the port of Seaside comes with a very very simply approach in which at the start of a request, a GemStone session is opened. At the end of the request, it tries to commit. If there was a conflict, it rollbacks and then tries again. 3 times. This solves quite some scenarios of typical "commit conflicts" that could be solved automatically by just waiting a little bit and re-try. Hi Joachim, thanks for your attention to this issue. I tried to change it to #a, #r or #kg, but this didn't work. It works with the following by leaving the '\?' out: GET:'\/bac\/a=(\d*)&r=(\d*.\d*)&kg=(\d*)' asRegex -> [:req | BloodAlcoholCalculator a:(req at:1) r:(req at:2) kg:(req at:3) ]; But it works only by manually submitting it from the address input field of the browser. So I guess there is a problem with handling the '\?'. Hi Norbert, I didn't want to use "use database" for queries but for defining the index from within smalltalk.
