Hi Rafael, I share your interest! Over the last few months, I've been trying to gather more in-depth information on TeaTime and how it might be used in a different context, more geared towards distributed business applications. Quite a bit of Croquet material can still be found, although most of the time it requires some cleverness with the Wayback Machine. However, I found it quite hard to get my hands on good TeaTime documentation and didn't dare to dive into the Squeak Croquet code yet. Thank you for sharing the Archipelago paper, very interesting! Hi all, I wonder if there is any project for supporting the replication of shared objects between Pharo images. My interest is to explore the replication approach for distributed, peer-to-peer applications. However, instead of the mainstream replication of data, I'd like to play with the "behavior replication" proposed by the TeaTime architecture from the old Croquet project. [ANN] Pharo P3 PostgreSQL client extended with SCRAM-SHA-256 authentication support

Hi, P3, the modern, lean and mean PostgreSQL client for Pharo has been extended with SCRAM-SHA-256 authentication support. https://github.com/svenvc/P3 To authenticate users when a client connects to the database, several mechanisms are offered by PostgreSQL. Previously, the following methods were supported in P3: - trust (no password) - password (plain text password) - md5 (MD5 based challenge/response) More recent versions of PostgreSQL offer a method called 'scram-sha-256', which is an improved challenge/response scheme using more advanced cryptographic techniques. Hi Tom, Pharo Launcher downloads VMs as a zip archive (HTTP GET) and then extract it to the desired path. Probably Kaspersky puts a flag on files downloaded from the web until you explicitly give your approbation that it is not a malicious software. Maybe you can configure Kaspersky to whitelist Pharo Launcher downloads?
