I'm not sure I understand what you want to archive with provided code :) Space is not something you want to embed in another space. Space manages UI thread, event fetching, alarms and many other low level stuff. Universe contains spaces and there can be only one running space at a time - read there can be only one active UI thread and event fetcher in the system. Check Bloc-Core-Universe. Alain put a lot of effort writing class docs. Please, could you explain in more detail your idea and provide some examples where embedding of spaces could be applicable? This makes real testing possible, prevents another global > mess, and makes other /really/ exciting possibilities within reach Why? Bloc Space within a Space

I always wanted to do this in Morphic, but it made too many assumptions about the World's environment e.g. use of globals like ActiveHand and World. I gave it a shot (see below). The new space did appear in the current world, but the rectangle seemed to open in the container world, not in the new world because when I closed the new space via the halo the rectangle remained. For me, it is very important to have a space easily create-able and drivable. This makes real testing possible, prevents another global mess, and makes other /really/ exciting possibilities within reach. Can it be done in Bloc? Having a selection box only when you press shift and drag and drop? Once back from holidays, I will check how it is done in JavaFX. Monticello reverse project dependency

Hi, I have the following situation: I have ProjectMain, and ProjectPlugin, now normally the Plugin depends on Main, however I would like to load Plugin as part of Main. The problem is that I can't specify to load Plugin after Main has been already fully loaded, if I do something like this BaselineOfMain>>baseline: spec <baseline> spec for: #common do: [ spec baseline: 'Plugin' with: [ spec repository: '...'; loads: #('default' OR 'plugin') ]. spec package: 'Main' with: [ spec requires: #(more stuff) ]; spec group: 'default' with: #('Main'). spec group: 'complete' with: #('default' 'Plugin') ] The BaselineOfPlugin has two groupsâ¦ "default", which loads also "Main", and "plugin", which doesn't. Now the problem is that there is no guaranteed way that Plugin will load after Main (in fact the should happen). If I load the plugin's #default, then Metacello ends up in an endless loop for some reason, and if I load #plugin, then it will load it before the Main which will break it (because Plugin has dependencies on main). So my question is: is it possible to reverse it somehow? Maybe add at the end `spec postLoadDoIt: #postLoadPlugins`, and then in that method manually load the plugins with Metacello/Gofer? Or is there a better way? Thanks, Peter

Quick and dirty: "Sensor shiftPressed" The modification keys (shift/ctrl/alt/cmd?) is available at the MorphicEvent side see the class UserInputEvent (variable buttons + protocol modifier state). Adding a variable to TRAbstractMouseEvent (removing those at TRAbstractMouseClick) which hold this information + the same messages as in "modifier stae" + in each rtMouse... method in RTMorph add a line setting the button state from the evt argument to the RTEvent type (for example "ee modifierState: evt buttons") should make this information available for any mouse event in Roassal.
