Hi, So, I was able to reproduce your problem : for some reason, cairo does not answer a correct surface extent while in x11 (I didn't noticed before because I use wayland). I can hack a solution (and I will), but have fear that will cause future problems :/ Anyway, I will commit a fix and you will be able to use the surface extent message. Announcements on Traits methods injection ?

Hello all ! I'm looking for Announcements related to Traits which are triggered when classes methods from a uses Trait are injected into a Classe (of course using this Trait). I haven't find equivalent to that, there is Announcement when classes methods are edited into a Trait but not into a Traits user. For the moment I'm using a custom pragma in my Trait class methods to have the information about the classe method modification but when the pragma is triggered from the Trait, Trait users aren't not yet updated (methods are not yet injected or linked and not available to use). After when users are updated (with adding the classes methods from the Trait) the pragma is not triggered. Thanks for your help ! Cheers, Pierre

Hi Estaban. Thank you for your helpful and prompt replies to my problem. Unfortunately, your code does not work for me. I pasted your code into a playground. When it runs I get no errors but I get a completely blank window - no sign of the colour gradient. If I change the backend to #Morphic, I get the gradient but, as you say, it does not resize. When you already have a package with a name "XXX" and you create a new class with its package name as "XXX-YYY", Pharo automatically detects "YYY" as a tag for the package and not as a new package. That is your problem. Your class TBPostTest is not in a package that ends with "-Tests".
