The Pharo launcher leverages the version number and solves all this for you: It extracts the image version from the image file and based on that information it will download and launch the image with the corresponding VM. I have an old image Iâd like to recover some code from. When I try to launch in Pharo 2 (from memory it was written in Pharo 2) I get this error: This interpreter (vers. 6505) cannot read image file (vers. 6502).
