I am not advocating for PCRE in particular, I just need a regex engine that is just as powerful. I guess re2 serves that purpose, although I haven't used it myself (knowingly). Looking at https://github.com/google/re2/wiki/WhyRE2 <https://github.com/google/re2/wiki/WhyRE2>, re2 actually seems to be a good target. Pharo Launcher and Command Line

Hey, all. I REALLY dig the pharo launcher! this is a great addition. One quick question. How do i go about running a method from the command line? Specifically, I usually run something like: ./pharo Pharo.image ../scripts/setup-client-application.st To set up a new image with the current project. I am not sure which executable to run with this that will execute the same executable as pharo launcher. Everything has to be maintained (that is why 99% of all wikis are a mess). Even the old scheme (just copy the ConfigurationOf in the right repository) was not that easy to use (it required manual action to maintain). And can we please solve the problem that BaselineOf cannot be used as Catalog entries (or so I understood it).

There are two important things to know about PCRE: (1) it is a popular open source regexp library for Perl-style regexps, (2) because of that, it is prone to truly horrendous performance problems. No. In Calypso there is no such thing as extension protocol. There is explicit packaging of methods. When you create method you can toggle extension checkbox in status bar and select a package where method should be created. Same procedure can be applied on existing method. I tried to avoid star convention when I designed Calypso. I think it is a ugly hack because package is not a protocol. But seems it is badly accepted by people. So it could be reverted at some point. But I believe it is better to improve/fix things which does not work well with current approach. Seems like it if the protocol is empty when I convert it to an extension it > gets deleted rather than converted. If I use wget I can open it but it does not find the image: wget https://www.dropbox.com/s/z2acnw1yi77q4ps/DrGeo.app-19.03a.zip\?dl\=1 [image: Screen Shot 2019-02-05 at 10.58.46.png] I guess the problem is Gatekeeper. It flags dowloaded apps and if they contain executables that are not signed they will be marked as corrupted. If I disable Gatekeeper (spctl --master-disable) then I can also run the zip that I downloaded from the web browser.
