Hi Sven, Yes, your examples work in Pharo 7, however I also wanted a progress bar, and two exception handlers: 1) Resume when my files are too large (ZnEntityTooLarge). 2) When download failed display an error message. Now for 1) I consider to wrap the whole download code - because I don't like #isKindOf: - into this: ZnMaximumEntitySize value: someMaxSize during: [ ... ]. I changed my code to use #downloadTo: Thank you for the suggestion!! The fuss in this thread is that you may criticise Pharo (and we know Pharo has many many problems). But wanting to code outside the environment is losing what makes Pharo an attractive option. Without the environment, Pharo is just another dynamic language. Wanting to avoid the environment just to use the tool you are used to is the bad approach. To program a C# application people uses visual studio. You can use notepad++ too, but nobody would think on doing it. You know? It is possible to avoid completely the environment. Without much effort you can: 1. You edit the Tonel files with the editor you want. 2. You âcompile your programâ, which would be to file in the files. 3. You ârun your programâ, which would be to run the image. This can be even improved! You can do a plugin on eclipse or IntelliJ that will match syntax color and maybe give you some autocompletion. Then you will be in the world you want, using your preferred IDE with you preferred shortcuts. But why then would you use Pharo? There are TONS of languages there that work like that. Spotter is a marvel by itself, however please try to survive developing in Pharo for a minute without a mouse - or just jumping to different panes in Calypso, debugger and inspector. PrimitiveFailed: primitive #createDirectory: in WindowsStore failed

I'm getting the "PrimitiveFailed: primitive #createDirectory: in WindowsStore failed" error when I launch Pharo 7.0 32-bit image in Windows 10, if the image is copied from another computer. Namely, I share my working directory (including Pharo images) among three computers. When I create new Pharo 7.0 image on one of these computers, the image starts OK. The image gets synchronized to other computers. If I start the image on one of these, Pharo responds with the error message: <http://forum.world.st/file/t372052/Capture.jpg> If I save the image on the problematic computer, it runs OK from then on. Then, the error again shows up on another computer and behaves similarly - if I locally store the image, it runs OK. The problem is when I start the image that was copied from another computer. Of course I pay attention that I don't have Pharo running in parallel. Everything works well with older versions of Pharo images (5.0, 6.0, 6.1).
