Typing a | character

Hi everybody, I wrote yesterday night on the same topic, and later in the night Sven proposed a solution. I just tried it, but it didn't work. In fact it doen't work on my computer, as can be seen in the attached picture. Has anyone using a computer with a French KB experienced the same problem? What solution is he/she using to declare variables? Regards, Mark

The same holds for many German QWERTZ keyboards, where the â> < |â key in the lower left is labelled â> < Â¦â but always produces a vertical bar character. >> HTH, Sven

Typing a | character

Hi, Can some helping soul tell me how you type the | character used to declare a variable? I wouldn't like to type it every time via copy and paste. Help needed. Regards, Mark

Probably not as simple as it could be, but GsDevKit_home[1] is pretty easy to install (MacOs, Ubuntu, Debian, and Centos installation available -- other Linux-based could be added). Paul Debruicker has provided ansible playbooks[2] for installing GsDevKit_home, DaemonTools (gem monitoring), NginX and a few other useful utilities. You mentioned that you are using Teapot for REST. Teapot itself hasn't been ported to GemStone, but Zinc _has_, so I assume it would not be a big chore to port Teapot to GemStone ... Funny you should mention that. i ended up removing all the voyage stuff, and just using objects.. as soon as i am ready to go live, i am going to use gemstones.. is there a quick and easy setup for heroku or digital ocean? [State Machine] Implementation for pharo

Hey, all.. Just checking in to see if there were any projects out there that included a stage machine. There is one that Iâve been using in Ruby for awhile that I really like. At the start of the year I prolongated everyone after checking that the info is still valid. Salt is not well done, though. Eg. there is *no* way to get notified about new sponsors, and they do not anwer *any* support requests. e.g. changing the description of a level is impossible, basic things like that. (even though we pay 10% of all income for itâ¦) Marcus
