I propose we don't change anything with respect to that :-). I think users can open the pdf viewer once manually and this viewer will see updated to the pdf file so you don't have to open the pdf again and again. My bad, the configuration is called ApplicationSecurity, which includes Nacl and Cryptography. Hi, Have you seen the Cryptography package, you can get it by downloading Nacl from Configuration Browser. It implements RC4 which is a Stream Cipher, but seems that a little bit of work is needed in order to use it on a Stream since it receives a ByteArray. Custom layout in Spec

I want to make a layout based on TableLayout. Taking SpecLayout as example, it seems that I also have to create model class similar to ContainerModel and adapter for it. However, I noticed that SpecInterpreter has some hardcoded behaviour for ContainerModel in computeSpecFrom:selector: method. You can use the old syntax for class declaration for creating classes, i.e. : Superclass subclass: #MyClass instanceVariableNames: 'x y z' classVariableNames: '' category: 'MyProject' However, the compiler does not take slots into account yet, so custom slots will only be available for Pharo 4. There is a still some work to do in the new class builder and in the slot architecture to make it usable. I am trying to duplicate the typed slot example in the paper "Flexible Object Layout". I did create the classes for TypedSlot and FloatSlot, but I am trying to find the best way to set the type for class FloatSlot to the class Float. In the example in the paper it appears to be set at the time the class is created however that does not seem to be an option when using PharoClassInstaller. I was thinking about using some form of lazy initialization, but is there a better way; a method anticipated by the Pharo 3 designers? I used: PharoClassInstaller make: [ :aSCB | aSCB superclass: Slot; name: #TypedSlot; slots: #(type); category: 'BW-Testing' ]. very good idea, it makes perfect sense to have the ability to open pdf as soon as compiling ends. I advice to provide an option to activate this ability as a command line argument. So if there is batch compiling or compiling happening on the server this process wont trigger. Even cooler it would be if there is a problem with Latex generation to open the tex file displaying the error. But that is probably a lot trickier.
