I myself created some helper scripts that generate a directory skeleton where a stone can live in. So you can have as many stones as you like to have. You can find the scripts here https://github.com/noha/stone-creator They are written in sh/bash because I wanted to have no extra dependencies. If you know ruby you might have a look at Ottos stuff at https://github.com/ottobehrens/gemstone-scripts and there are a few more I forgot. Norbert

thanks, guys.. and just in case that part is going to get worked on.. tim pope's implementation in his rails mode for vim handles smart characters very well.. but i am still not a huge fan of smart characters.. they have to be done exactly correctly to be tolerarble.. running multiple gemstones

quote pairing. how to do this correctly?
