hi kris, beware that the markdown parser isn't complete yet :/. normally you would write a visitor which walks over the returned data (markdown nodes in this case). If you inspect further the returned elements you will see how they reflect the different markdown entities... Beginner Question on PetitParserMarkdown

Hello, I'm trying to use the PetitParserMarkdown package. I run the code below in a workspace and get an array. I'm not sure how to turn the array into HTML. Any help is greatly appreciated. In Pharo 1.4, use the following snippet to load Nautilus: Gofer new url: 'http://ss3.gemstone.com/ss/Nautilus'; package: 'ConfigurationOfNautilus'; load. (Smalltalk at: #ConfigurationOfNautilus) perform: #loadRelease. Please note that I had load failures when loading Nautilus before loading Seaside. Loading Seaside first caused no problems. Runar

This is unfortunate, but there was not any real alternative... You can load though better browsers: 1) OB. In the Configuration Browser there is a configuration to load it (this is the browser form 1.3 full) 2) Natilus. This is the browser we will ship by default in the future. You can load it yourself (There is a config in the Configuration browser). 2.0 will come with Nautilus by default. You can already play with it here: https://ci.lille.inria.fr/pharo/view/Pharo%202.0/job/Pharo-2.0/lastSuccessf… But keep in mind that this is under heavy development. Thanks thanks thanks for asking!! Building a group of people on that would be excellent. What would be good is - have a look at the EventModel package because we cleaned the low level event raised by the vm not the morphic management of them - reduce the direct use of sensor in the morphic world and probably other (lower package than morphic) - clean a bit the event handling - look how to integrate fernando modeling of event handling: state pattern + distribute responsibilities of HandMorph into several classes because HandMorph is doing too much - we want to remove DependentFields from Object and we should probably follow what CUIS did: i.e. reexpresse changed/update using the EventManager - look in MC and make sure that MC classes are subclasses of Model - reduce the API of the event Manager on Object: probably just couple of methods is enough. - Ideally we should remove the changed:/update protocol because it broadcasts and replace that with something around on:send:to: - Remove as much as possible of respondsTo: for UI widget. - Adding Anchor layout developed by Igor so that we can specify that a widget is attached to a border. - rewriting all the drawOn: methods into drawOnAsAthens: so that we can remove the old canvas - Integrate the CUIS layout that fernando integrated. Drag and drop events in Pharo

Hi, I've made a small experiment, dragging a file to Pharo's window, which caused to instantiate a FileList object (shown as a pop-up window) with instance variable reference containing a FileReference object corresponding to the file chosen. (Does this make sense?) The question is, how can I customize this to get this FileReference instance and assign it to some arbitrary class instance variable? In other words, how does the dnd event work in this case? Thanks Christian
