Stepping through diameter of CircleMorph

Adding OAuth & OpenID support to Pharo

Hello, Now that we have added Websocket support to Zinc, I would like to move forward and add OAuth & OpenID. Sven Van Caekenberghe, and Jan van de Sandt, have put together a proposal, which my company would like to fund. If anyone feels that they would benefit from this - commercially - and would be happy to make a contribution to the development costs, please shoot me an email. I made WebDoc once, it's a bit unstable and only works from within the same image... Basically it's a seaside app that let's you look at the system much like javadoc. - All comments are parsed as Markdown and formatted for the website. - Links to methods and classes are extracted from the comments as well. - Method references are resolved if possible and a small popup is shown when hovering the sources You can download and try the image below. http://localhost:8080/webdoc/doc/ have fun! Hi Adrian, Try with latest Pharo 1.4 OneClick which has SSL plugin included so that you won't need tuneling but use SSL directly with Zodiak. Cloudfork SSO works that way too. OAuth and Twitter

Hello All, I'm trying to get working the example shown in: http://blog.doit.st/2011/02/23/cloudforksso-on-pharo-with-stunnel/ I loaded the package without probles doing 1 Gofer new 2 squeaksource: 'Cloudfork'; 3 package: 'ConfigurationOfCloudforkSSO'; 4 load. 5 (Smalltalk at: #ConfigurationOfCloudforkSSO) project latestVersion load: 'Tests' When I try to evaluate the piece of code that follows, 1 self default httpClient: ((CFHttpClientTunnelAccess new) 2 client: CFHttpClientZincAccess new ; 3 tunnel: 'www.google.com' through: 'localhost:20011' ; 4 tunnel: 'api.twitter.com' through: 'localhost:20012'; 5 tunnel: 'graph.facebook.com' through:'localhost:20013' ; 6 tunnel: 'open.login.yahooapis.com' through:'localhost:20014' ; 7 tunnel: 'openid.hyves-api.nl' through:'localhost:20015' ; 8 yourself ) I found CFHttpClientTunnelAccess class is not in my image. Browsing, I found CFTunneledHttpClient, but the protocol of this class is different from the missing one. Furthermore, I don't understand where this code should be located, so that self reference makes sense. I'm using Pharo 1.3 , as I think it is the Pharo version contemporary with this package and post. The primitives are in AioPlugin (http://www.squeaksource.com/AioPlugin/) which connects to the low level select() implementation that Ian Piumarta developed for the unix VMs. I think that this works on Mac and on Cog VMs also if the plugin is provided (but it will not work on Windows). Note that the socket that you use in the image may already be using select() to respond to incoming data. HTH, Dave

Polling sockets

Hi guys, theres something like the select or poll C functions in order to wait for incoming-data from a set of sockets? I searched at the list and in the pharo by example book without any success and i didn't find a method named poll / select ( select in terms of sockets ) in the image. Maybe i need to spawn a process per socket? Thanks!
