[Pharo-project] Notify progress with Announcements instead of Exceptions

Issue 5874: [ENH]: Notify progress with Announcements instead of Exceptions http://code.google.com/p/pharo/issues/detail?id=5874 This seems like a natural use case for Announcements and Exceptions seems like more of a hack. I found the Exception behavior very hard to customize. I caught the ProgressInitiationException, but the ProgressNotification exceptions seemed to be caught elsewhere and I could not get to them.
