well I will keep an eye on it , its certainly interesting . I also love that you expose the full Pharo IDE to the user. I may contribute at some point, I promise nothing but creating a tool that is easy to use for adults with no knowledge of coding is certainly my goal too. do you target kids only or is it adult too ? I mean whether you have the goal to offer more advanced libraries in the future, like vector graphics, bone animation , 3d graphics etc.
For me the part for children is the part from Scratch. Now, I extended and created phratch for adult. The idea is to prototype easily, without remembering the source code, or learning source code.
For example, to use the robot Ev3, it is really easy to obtain something that works without knowing the API.
I have a lot of idea to extend phratch, for example: - add an API on top of Roassal - add an API for Arduino

Thanks to the 30 students of Ecole des Mines de Douai, who use Phratch + Jetstorm, we improved a lot the stability and the rapidity of phratch. Now, we can say that it is usable.
There is no new feature in phratch3.0. It is a release for usability.
Only one big change: we know that sound does not work on each platform, so we decided to push sound features in an add-on.
This makes us thinking about modularity for the next release. Letâs go for phratch4.0 !
Some new things arrived also on the website: new font style, section goodies. In the goodies section, you can support us by buying goodies, or just with a donation.
A last thing: Phratch begin to work on RaspberryPi, thanks to JB Arnaud for the VM. As NativeBoost is not yet implemented, some features do not work. For example, when launching phratch on RPi, there is a NativeBoost error due to a file access.
