I would focus on the current spec issues in Pharo and see step by step how we can address them. If we propose the same solution that in the Spec git repo then it will be a coincidence.
So ideally we should open separate issue for each of the things you want to integrate and resolve them one at a time. Several smaller issues are more manageable than one big "integrate X things" issue. And close the original one, or add the new ones as subissues. Peter
