I totally agree... some UI patterns are there for a reason. I really like the look of this IDE, the integration of the package/recently modified views, and also the classes and its extensions. yes... I always said that a toolbar is a toolbar, not something weird in the middle :) also I like what they did with the icons (still like more the eclipsepack, thought)
