Maybe it's just me and my workflow, but in my eyes, switching the prominence of snapshots vs worlds(desktops) on the bar wouldn't be a bad thing :) Cheers, Henry

Re: [Pharo-project] Mouse handler on a morph

by Erwan Douaille

Okay, but i didn't find anything with globalToLocal. And i've find another solution, just use soustraction for this problem : captureMouse: event Transcript cr;show: event position - self position. That's work too :) Thanks ;) 2012/5/2 Chris Muller <asqueaker(a)gmail.com> > This is because, under rare circumstances, it is desirable to do > something in/on/to the desktop based on the position in the local > morph. > > To get the local coordinates look for a method with the word "global" > in it -- globalToLocal: or something like that. So do you like the issue? ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: <pharo(a)googlecode.com> Date: Wed, May 2, 2012 at 11:54 PM Subject: [Pharo-bugtracker] Issue 5782 in pharo: Close ALL windows, no matter if they have unchanged changes To: pharo-bugtracker(a)lists.gforge.inria.fr Status: Accepted Owner: marianopeck Labels: Type-Bug New issue 5782 by marianopeck: Close ALL windows, no matter if they have unchanged changes http://code.google.com/p/**pharo/issues/detail?id=5782<http://code.google.com/p/pharo/issues/detail?id=5782> Hi guys. Lots of time I found in a situation where I want: 1) To close ALL type of windows (not necessary browsers) such as worksapces and transcripts. 2) To close all windows EVEN if they have unsaved changes. I have added a new entry in "World menu" -> "Windows" -> "Delete all windows discarding edits" that does exactly that. So...do you like it? if true, I can put it to review/integrate. ______________________________**_________________ Pharo-bugtracker mailing list Pharo-bugtracker(a)lists.gforge.**inria.fr<Pharo-bugtracker(a)lists.gforge.inria.fr> http://lists.gforge.inria.fr/**cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/**pharo-bugtracker<http://lists.gforge.inria.fr/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pharo-bugtracker> -- Mariano http://marianopeck.wordpress.com

With the one from frontpage, it loads correctly. The way it's used in TWM doesn't really seem to be multiple desktops though, but rather snapshots of how windows were positioned at any given time. I can't say I think it works well for that, because: 1) If you remove a browser from the screen, it disappears from all snapshots. 2) If you change selection in a browser, it changes in all snapshots. 3) If you add a browser, it's added to previous snapshots in the position you left it when hitting the back button. Much more useful imho if the buttons could be used to just create new blank desktop with independently managed opened windows, and travel back/forward through those you've created :) Cheers, Henry

It's true even if I will do my best as long as possible :) @Sean, did you use the config to load Nautilus ? Because the Configuration _should_ load Growl :s (and to be honest, when I type on keyboard, I more or less always misspell my last name ^^) Ben On May 2, 2012, at 5:00 PM, Marcus Denker wrote: > > On May 2, 2012, at 4:55 PM, Sean P.
