I'm going to submit a similar change for "WriteStream on:" later today (replacing 216 occurrences!). One reason I'm delaying is that I have found and fixed a few other bugs while doing the basic work, and I want to package those changes separately and have separate issue numbers for those. The other reason is that the WriteStream changes do overlap this issue ( http://code.google.com/p/pharo/issues/detail?id=1144 ) in a couple of methods, so I want to wait until that one has been harvested/included so that I don't accidentally overwrite yesterday's changes with today's :-p -- Cheers, Peter

[Pharo-project] Coral using NewCompiler

I modified LoadCoral and Coral so that it works in the pharo1.0-10418-BETAdev09.08.3 image and uses NewCompiler.Since I cannot commit on the Coral repository, I attached the files. Luc I think that for installer you should publish on the Installer source project. I do not know if keith still maintain it or if everybody can publish code there without any checks. Now you can also have a look at Gofer in lukas repository for scripting your loads. I confirm the syntax error in Rio (File-Kernel-kph-31) reported by Vicnet. Just try : Installer ss project: 'Rio'; install: 'File-Kernel' to reproduce it. This error wasn't in the previous version (30). [Pharo-project] Installer bug

Installer cache project: 'CustomProject' ; install: 'CustomProject' does not work properly because in InstallerMonticello>>project:, a ByteString path is stored instead of a FileDirectory and because MCCacheRepository default is a directory *without subdir*. I attached a quick fix, that make it work for both Cache and repository with subdirs. #Luc

[Pharo-project] Rio: binary mode copy not keep

Hello, I try to use Directory addTree: The src directory I use containts jpeg file. addTree fails because FileKernel use a FileJpeg in InputStream and there is a input pb on this file. I try to add binary mode : base binary addTree: dest but it is the same result: input error. When I copy this file directly with binary mode, it is ok. addTree collect files/dirs to copy but dot not transmit the binary flag. Is it normal ? Directory home binary files first isBinary ==> false ! Should it be true ? Is there another, 'official', way to binary recursive copy ?
