[Pharo-project] Senders of #haltOnce

I discovered some senders of #haltOnce in Pharo 1.1 morphic code as I was using this functionality to debug my own code. I submitted a fix: http://code.google.com/p/pharo/issues/detail?id=2833 Also I discovered countless senders of #halt and friends in library code and tests. This is really bad for continuous integration and for deploying images, because they open debuggers. Indeed. A side effect of supporting Enter on editable drop lists to add items (when in a dialog)... Change TextEntryDialogWindow>> newTextEditorMorph "Answer a new text entry morph." ^(self newTextEntryFor: self getText: #entryText setText: #entryText: getEnabled: nil help: nil) acceptOnCR: false; selectAll This allows the dialog to process the Enter key rather than the PluggableTextFieldMorph. [Pharo-project] Probably a bug

Hi! Just wanted to mention this, stumbled over it: Character separators asString ...doesn't seem to do give us the right thing :) along the way there. Perhaps Sean stumbled over this too with Todd's HTML parser, that is where I saw the issue at least. So obviously something is different in Pharo these days. regards, GÃ¶ran

Hi all! I wonder a few things: - Why was SimpleLog deemed "hard"? The class comment on SLLog etc is pretty straight forward IMHO! - Also SimpleLog has some quite nice features: - A really nice Morph to keep an eye on the logging going on, and to easily filter it etc, although it needs some love for Pharo to compile. - A log to file class with rotation. - Ability to use syslog like Ramon posted, in fact, I think SimpleLog was first with that. I just... wonder why we need to reinvent so many things over and over? It also looks like: - OSProcess works well on Mac - the bug related to the window preview in the Watery theme works with the latest VM (I am talking about the preview of the window when hovering over the task bar from Pharo) This is really great!
