i think that the problem here (as i understood), that search window capturing a global focus, while in reality it should prevent interaction only with window, where you activated search/replace function, so you should not be able to interact with that window, while still should be able to interact with another ones. Hi Mariano, It was supposed to be a feature, I mean for the find & replace window to always stay on top. A setting can be easily introduced to allow/forbid this. But, it should not take the keyboard focus: if you click on a code pane, for example, the find & replace window comes to top but the clicked code pane should keep the keyboard focus. With all the trouble over this with time, it seemed reasonable to try to trigger it while I had the one-click in front of me. I have the one-click 1.2 from the Hudson server (#42??) running on Ubuntu 10.4. So far, I have not been able to trigger it by creating a package and saving another. Is inspecting UUID new enough? And...of course, it would be rally nice that this is done by implementing the protocol #cleanUp: and #cleanUp Check issue http://code.google.com/p/pharo/issues/detail?id=2130 At some point, we will be able to do Smalltalk cleanUp and this propagate the message to all clases. For the moment, just implementing your cleaning in those methods, and calling them from cleanUpForRelease would be enough. Cheers mariano

I use CogVm (I compiled it myself a few months ago, so it isn't the last version) and it's working ok for me. Hi! Several of my students experience a crash of Pharo when saving with Monticello. They all use linux. I can ask for more detailed description. Are we the only one to experience this?
