Yeah and there many tools to to help you out. For example take a look at phonegap. Became so popular for ios and android apps that now are owned by Adobe. So there is definetly a big market you can exploit. Another one is Titanium. Because they are all javascript amber can play with all of them so there is huge potential. Amber can do this for you including the debugging ! I know its not quite Pharo but you have the added advantage that it can run on Android and anything with a browser capable of Javascript. This is probably outside what the core Pharo demographic is looking for, but this is what I want for Christmas: I'd like to be able to program in Pharo on my desktop/laptop and then with one click deploy to an iOS device. Bonus points if I could then debug on the iOS device. I would also like Santa to bring me a pony. cheers, Steve

Some squeaksource.com updates

Mail notifications for squeaksource.com updates have now been enabled. This function was disabled when squeaksource.com was initially re-hosted on squeak.org, and should now once again work as expected. Earlier problems that had caused repeat mail notifications for existing updates have been resolved and are not expected to cause further problems. The welcome page for http://squeaksource.com has been updated for factual content, and hopefully to appear less alarming for casual visitors. The policy of disabling new project creation remains in effect. With the welcome page updates, I also removed the instructions for moving projects from SqS to the newer repositories, because it seems a bit too unwelcoming for a "welcome" page. However, this is important information, so we need to keep it available somewhere. Is this (or could it be) available on a FAQ somewhere? If so I will link to it from the SqS welcome page. I found the problem Ã© used in method name. I got confused by the not so precise error reporting of the scanner. Having decent exception for loading code would be good.
