I don't want to rain in your folks party, but a nanosecond is a millionth of a millisecond. Also, it is at the timing of silicon memory access on present microcomputers. Isn't enough you increase the accuracy of the timing by one thousand looking for a solution to get *microsecond* resolution? If you look at TextPrinter, there is already support for cross platform printing built in. Not necessarily as fully featured as I'd like, but it does work. At it's core, it allows for seding a form to a printer, so you should be able to send anything that you can compose in Pharo directly to the printer. That call is: Form>>primPrintHScale:vScale:landscape: I've used it fairly successfully in the past, although I find that you definitely need the form to be in the deepest display depth (32) to get the coloring right (or even black and white, for that matter). -Chris

[Pharo-project] about ConfigurationOfXXX

Hi, i wanted to know if there's documentation on the ConfigurationOfXXX classes. Because it seems to me that now we just cut and paste from previous ones. Maybe a super class ConfigurationOfPackages could be created? Could someone please ilustrate the usage and examples , and maybe put it on the Pharo Web Page. Specially because it seems to be the standard way of loading monticello projects now. Thanks! Fernando
