Depending which version are you talking about. 10496 seems to be very stable for me. I have been using it 12 hours a day for the last 20 days and no problem except the double copy paste. With 10502 I cannot even click on a class neither in the code panel. A general web 2.0 platform can of course not replace a dedicated community platform. But being present on the *now* web (average time for a answer on SO is about 2 minutes!) is a must these days. A strategy for the pharo twitter account might also improve visibility as well as accessibility. Linking to awesome mailing list or blog posts, both from Pharo, Smalltalk *and* outside, would be my suggestion. Sorry to say, but mailing lists are parent's technology :) --AA

[Pharo-project] Beginner question :) search and replace in String

Method finder does not find a method for 'foobarqux' . 'bar' . 'XYZ' . 'fooXYZqux' and stupid me couldn't find a method on String either. How to get this done? +10 internets for solution with regex. --AA

shortcuts.... I took a clean pharo1.0-10502-rc1dev09.12.2. I open Monticello Browser, and of course, there is no dirty (modified) package. I select the package OB-Standard, then select the repo http://source.wiresong.ca/ob , and click on changes 1) First, I would expect to have no changes with an Image I have just downloaded, without doing nothing and even when Monticello Browser showed me there is no dirty package. But.....this showed me several changes!!! I attach a picture. So....what's the problem here ? 2) In addition, after doing this, the MC Browser showed the package OB-Standard as dirty...but this was not done at the beggining!
