How to adapt Keyboard settings for Mac?
Hi: One thing which bothers me quite often is the standard settings i.e. keybindings in Pharo. Especially navigation in the text is kind of hard. I am used to use cmd+left|right to jump to the beginning or end of a line. Think, that is the usual behavior in most text editors I have tried. (TextEdit, TextMate, MacVim). Is there a way to get this behavior? Haven't found anything which looks like it in the Preference Browser It would also be nice, if I could use alt+left|right to jump between words. For new-bees like me, it would be very nice, if this kind of platform-specific behavior is automatically chosen depending on the platform the image is used on. We are all agree that this a problem. There are more than two projects in squeaksource that we should look at: keymapper and the other I don't remember the name. But in summary, it let you customize the shortcuts as you said (I think). The matter is that nobody has time to do that. It is a matter of download the package and try to make it work. Hi stefan yes I would like to have that too as an emacs guy I like ctrle Now you can check the keymapping 30 on squeak (I tried to load on squeak.39 and I got an error but something related to initialize). I remember it was more complete that keybinder and project) keybinder on squeak (I tried to load it on squeak 3.9 and it loaded) vim?
