[Pharo-users] when was pharo announced to the world?

hi, a trivial question; when was pharo announced to the world? we all could use that day as the one to collectively chip in some amount towards the project's operational expenses. a nice burst of funds, once a year might be a good thing compared to a funding drive (as some of the other open source projects carry out). ~mayuresh
