You can just provide `nil` as the first option, e.g. ui := DynamicComposableModel new. ui instantiateModels: #(select DropListModel). ui select items: #(nil a b c); displayBlock: [ :each | each ifNil: [ '' ] ifNotNil: #asString ]. layout := SpecLayout composed add: #select. ui openWithSpecLayout: layout.
