Have a look at http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pharo It's in german but you can access the english version which is written "faro". If you translate the first paragraph from german to english (word by word) it reads as '...is a lottery card game with french playing cards" :) On the english site you can read that there were prominent faro dealers: Doc Holiday and Wyatt Earp. What a name you can get if you leave out a single letter. I didn't recognize that pharos is a lighthouse but pharo is not. Norbert
