More installs. More deals. Using Mongodb more extensively for one application. Start of a new application module on business dashboarding. Documentation of our system writing using Pillar. CommandLineHandler based tool for console based administration of the system.

- I Attended to a regional BarCamp to talked about OOP, Smalltalk and Pharo. Got very good reception and feedback. One of the attendants even tried Pharo some time ago. The critics were same as usual.

Continue to improve our Pharo based applications. Refactoring all the way down.

* Made my first contribution to the VM, adding <modifier> keypress events for OSX. * Refactored class variables and class-side methods of Delay to instance side of new DelayScheduler.

* Change Delays/DelayScheduler base from milliseconds to microseconds, to fix the commandline issue with "super fast delay" * Factor out the mutex interthread synchronisation code and provide some alternatives (e.g. Semaphore & Spinlock)

I am curious to learn why Seaside "scalability is a bit different" ?
The most immediate reason is that session affinity is a requirement, not an option, as with other stateless frameworks. Unless you are in GemStone, where sessions are persisted and hence session affinity is not a requirement. Another would be memory requirements. Depending on your app, if you use the statefull side of the framework a lot (#states and friends) and you do keep large graphs in there, the system itself will obviously consume more memory. So that's another thing to consider that may not be the same when dealing with stateless framworks. Maybe there were more reasons that I cannot remember now.
