Since you need a specific behavior for your application you could mimic the code here in #readServerUpdatesThrough: maxNumber saveLocally: saveLocally updateImage: updateImage, without sending message to ... UIManager default chooseFrom: #('Stop looking' 'Try next server') title: .... Or maybe decouple it from the view, and integrate it into Pharo.
