Yes it seems that it is not possible to allocate more than half a GB on Mac OS X. The VM's are obviously different on each platform. BTW, I didn't know that get.pharo.org works so well on OS X too ;-) Now, for server production usage only Linux counts anyway. On Mac OS X, stability is way more important to me than heap size. But it would be nice to hear something from our VM experts. Sven
