aSymbol ifNil: [^ false]. ^ self pointsTo: aSymbol

yes, that looks very strange. especially as the overridden method should execute  very fast, too: includesKey: key  "Answer whether the receiver has a key equal to the argument, key." self at: key ifAbsent: [^false]. ^true I suggest to just remove the override. Marcus
