.. and you can always create own extension methods #cr -> #carriageReturn etc but as Benoit said, even if you do it, this won't make your code automagically portable across all smalltalk dialects. You will still need portability package per each dialect, otherwise you'll have to implement own streams, collections etc. -- Best regards, Igor Stasenko.
