Where does the name 'Pharo' come from?
From some brainstorming session in early 2008... the idea is that it is a mix of the Portuguese Farol and the french Phare for light-house.
How should it be pronounced?
I pronounce it with a non-english "a"... but there is no standard. (like in spanish Mate, the tea stuff, not like the english mate)
Is the thing inside the O supposed to be a lighthouse or a beetle?
Lighthouse. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m2LeNBY_5gk -- Marcus Denker -- http://marcusdenker.de
