Hilaire, Thanks for the feedback. I've opened http://code.google.com/p/metacello/issues/detail?id=69 to track this issue. This might be a shortcut worth adding, since it _is_ used very frequently. You'd still need to revert to the #package:with: form if you wanted to set multiple attributes ... does that make sense?
