Why you think it didn't noticed? I even spent time learning what is 'super-linear' means. :)
You're right that if taking a single individual, and his contribution to Pharo , it is of course always linear.
I think even alone you be non-linear. And the secret is: feedback loops. So imagine we implement something that makes it easier to work. (better browser, refactoring tools...). Then *using these* will make it easier to build new tools and abstractions... that make us more priductive.... Improving a system allows you do do things *faster*, and even, at some point, do things that where impossible without the improvement. (regardless how much time and intelligence you have). *That* is non-linear progress. Making the system better so you can make the system better more easily.
