really< get it in Mac OS? I tried with:

FileStream newFileNamed: 'test.txt' do: [ :each | each nextPutAll: 'ééé' ]

and got: '√©√©√©'. That IS the é character btw, in UTF8 encoding, but interpreted and displayed as MacRoman.
