This happend by the fix for issue 16333, Franck changed the TextField, to
not show highlighted code
and to not use code editor shortcuts/menus:

"... I also put newText for the two bottom boxes in debugger since now 
newCode is fixed for highlighting, we do not want to have highlighted 
text for these text areas..."
