is it ? I always thought it was just one of those things that is not an object , together with super and self. I vaguelly remember that 5-6 words in Smalltalk are not objects. If it is an actual object and not something else wrapped in a very thin object, I can see the reason for inspection. Otherwise I cannot say I see it.
