[Pharo-project] Can we integrate issue 1433 in 1.0 ?

This issue fixes in addition the big issue: http://code.google.com/p/pharo/issues/detail?id=1724 I am not sure of the impact of this change in a 1.0 core. Nicolas what do you think ? Thanks Mariano
