Instead trying to build the MacOS configuration, you need to use:
CogCocoaIOSConfig
Mariano's instructions say to do [CocoaIOSCogJitConfig
generateWithSources], then cd to the bld directory and do "cmake .". Is
there something I need to do beyond that, regarding Carbon vs. Cocoa?
