Additionally why not look at using XMLRPC bridge to do Jasper Reports.. or even CrystalReports.. Of course this will require little bit of backend work on a Groovy / Ruby/ Python or Webservice link to JasperServer.. if its commercial.. or Ruby for its fairly workable pdf writer..
