No it does not ;-) Monticello does not care where versions are stored, you could ship .mcz files around on an USB stick. The point is, distributed version control is possible, but requires cooperation: if I as maintainer of Zn do not accept your patches no cooperation will happen, it is as simple as that. It requires effort on both sides. This is not a technical problem (although improvements are most welcome), it is a social one. Sven
