Yes, Resilient and OOVM were/are cool projects, but did anything come from them ?
I think the company was aquired. If I remember correctly by Esmertec. They did Java VMs for cellphones (they came orginally from the Oberon community, I think).
Esmertec quickly decided to focus on Java for cellphonez and everything Resilient was shelved.
Esmertec itself merged with a french company and is now Myriad Group: http://www.myriadgroup.com/
And all the people involved went to Google to do V8 JavaScript and (I guess) now Dart.

I knew most of that (except the Myriad merger), but my (implicit) question was, did anything related to Smalltalk come from that ? It is a pity that that does not seem to be the case. Probably again an example of nice work done in Smalltalk but too far ahead of time to be used in practice. Sven
