Glorp can't be the only user who wants to read blobs, can it? ;) Cheers, Henry

Hi Nicolas, It's cool to hear that you are making progress on SmalltalkHub :-) You mention a public demo. Does it mean that we are close to a beta version ? Can you create a bug entry to remove these classes? If they are not maintained we should remove them. Stef > Hi Fernando, > > Thanks for the feedback. [Pharo-project] new Cog VMs are available

by Eliot Miranda

Hi All, the VMs are available at http://www.mirandabanda.org/files/Cog/VM/VM.r2508. CogVM source as per VMMaker.oscog-eem.137/r2508. Fix primitiveContextAt[Put] for non-contexts (ContextPart subclasses other than MethodContext including BlockContext). stObjectAt[Put] could fail so args should be popped only on success. Fixes failures in ClosureCompilerTest>testSourceRangeAccessForBlueBookInjectInto as of VMMaker.oscog-eem.118. Add convenient shortPrintFrame:AndNCallers: for debugging. Make the unix launch script include /lib & /usr/lib in LD_LIBRARY_PATH if LD_LIBRARY_PATH is unset. Modify the invocations of ex in the editing scripts to not read ~/.exrc, and hence not be confused by e.g. set ignorecase. Fix error codes for at: and at:put: primitive so that for non-indexable objects they fail with #'bad receiver', not #'bad index'. Filter-out attempts to create MNU pics with new selectors. Fixes Stephane Rollandin's crash of 21/10/2011: [((Compiler new evaluate: ('Beuh' ifNuk: [yo])) on: Error do: [:ex | ex description]) printString] fork -- best, Eliot

[Pharo-project] caputriing redButtonPressed and controlKeyPressed

by Hilaire Fernandes

In the code bellow, redButtonPressed and shiftPressed are detected correctly. However if I replace the #shiftPressed message by #controlKeyPressed message the redButtonPressed and Control key can not be detected *at the same time* Indeed, if I remove the redButtonPressed test, ControlKeyPressed is detected. All in all, it looks like redButtonPressed and ControlKeyPressed cannot be captured at the same time. I am under Linux VM. Is it an known problem? Hilaire mouseMove: evt (evt redButtonPressed and: [evt shiftPressed]) ifTrue: [...]. -- Education 0.2 -- http://blog.ofset.org/hilaire

[Pharo-project] Cluster analysis of Pharo source available?

by Guido Stepken

I like such things, like visualizing class dependencies with girvan newman algorithm: http://igraph.sourceforge.net/screenshots2.html or here: http://www.little-idiot.de/teambuilding/apache-structure.pdf Should be nice to see, how Pharo has changed over time. Are there such "reflective tools" available in Pharo? (Should be pretty easy to handover a list of Pharo class dependencies to igraph ...) Tnx, Guido Stepken

My inclination would be to think that this is something that the database driver ought to be handling rather than having it in Glorp at all. Re: [Pharo-project] Icon for commented/uncommented classes

In Pharo 1.4, class comments are always visible when looking at the class definition. So it does expose the comment more, asking you to write one. 2011/11/9 Janko Mivšek <janko.mivsek(a)eranova.si> > Hi guys, > > It would be very nice to visualy indicate in browser when some class has > comment, or even better, when not.
