Re: [Pharo-project] Athens work in progress: couple screenshots

Nice work Igor! I believe that Paragraph has too much responsibility right now, for example it takes care of drawing itself, besides the composition of lines to a fit a certain extent. For example, (VIEW) Paragraph>>showCaret: (MODEL) Paragraph>>compose: t style: ts from: startingIndex in: textContainer Looks like some of the behavior should be moved to the TextMorph. I agree that right now it's quite hard to write it by hand, but a UI will be done soon, so you will have colors and no problem with quotes. The problem with blocs is that you will retrieve a string from UI, so it's a bit hard to convert it into a block (at least, I do not know how to did it properly ^^) So maybe I should have both ;) Ben On Nov 22, 2011, at 6:42 PM, Mariano Martinez Peck wrote: > > > On Tue, Nov 22, 2011 at 2:36 PM, Benjamin <benjamin.vanryseghem.pharo(a)gmail.com> wrote: > > On Nov 22, 2011, at 6:03 PM, Mariano Martinez Peck wrote: > >> Hi Ben. [Pharo-project] Planned downtime December 6 for seaside.gemstone.com, seaside.gemstone.com/ss (GemSource), ss3.gemstone.com (SqueakSource3) and book.pharo-project.org

by Dale Henrichs

On December 6th maintenance will be performed on the internet link for the following services hosted by VMware: seaside.gemstone.com (GemSource) ss3.gemstone.com (SqueakSource3) book.pharo-project.org (Pharo the Collaboractive book) The maintenance window is between 1am and 5am PST with a scheduled 30 minutes of hard downtime. The services themselves will not be affected as it is only the internet link that is undergoing maintenance. The date and times are subject to change, but I thought I'd broadcast a heads up as soon as I got the information. Dale
