[Pharo-project] cog and libSqueakSSL.so

by Sebastian Sastre

Hi there, I've started a pharo 1.3 with the latest CogVM for linux and it's complaining about a couple of things. Should I worry? ~$ sudo invoke-rc.d workerImage0 start mprotect(x,y,PROT_READ | PROT_WRITE): Cannot allocate memory ~$ ioLoadModule(/home/prod/pharo/cog/libSqueakSSL.so): /home/prod/pharo/cog/libSqueakSSL.so: undefined symbol: sqSetIntPropertySSL The problem about the SqueakSSL plugin is preventing it from working at all so Zodiac isn't able to connect in SSL help please sebastian o/

The configuration loads now without issues into Pharo 1.3, Pharo 1.4, and Squeak 4.3. There are two failing tests, but these are expected failures ;) Let me know if you have any other problems. [Pharo-project] tail-like

by Tudor Girba

Hi, I am looking for a way to implement a logic like in the linux tail command: watch a file and react whenever a new line appears at the end of that file. Can anyone point me to some resources that I might use for something like this? Cheers, Doru -- www.tudorgirba.com "When people care, great things can happen."

I'll have to look around, but that would probably explain what I saw. I'll play around later to see if it holds up. I'm not sure about the ID of the browser though: it's listed as Browser, and there are no other choices. ________________________________ From: pharo-project-bounces(a)lists.gforge.inria.fr [pharo-project-bounces(a)lists.gforge.inria.fr] on behalf of Mariano Martinez Peck [marianopeck(a)gmail.com] Sent: Thursday, April 05, 2012 2:41 PM To: Pharo-project(a)lists.gforge.inria.fr Subject: Re: [Pharo-project] Pharo 1.4 - browse slow?? I found myself that Nautilus is slow the first time you open a class. Probablt it needs to cache something...then the second time you open it, it is fast. I would recommend to fill that cache during ConfigurationOfNautilus to avoid a wrong impression to the final user. I found myself that Nautilus is slow the first time you open a class. Probablt it needs to cache something...then the second time you open it, it is fast. I would recommend to fill that cache during ConfigurationOfNautilus to avoid a wrong impression to the final user.
