Re: [Pharo-project] Polymorph (and a few other) changes/fixes

If I replace a test like: > (m ~= self and: [m respondsTo: #font:]) > ifTrue: [m font: aFont] with a Morph>>font: method in a *Polymorph protocol, all the code is still in the Polymorph package, so it's simpler, with no clear deficiency (except possibly clutter in the browser, which we discussed). I'm just thinking this through for myself.... -- View this message in context: http://forum.world.st/Polymorph-and-a-few-other-changes-fixes-tp4583837p459… Sent from the Pharo Smalltalk mailing list archive at Nabble.com.

Re: [Pharo-project] remotely sharing a pharo screen

by Gastón Dall' Oglio

Hi Dennis. Interesting!! When I read the Bernat post I thought "mmm seem that is like screen command", and yes: http://xpra.org/ Very useful for remote (UI) support. Better yet, would be good to connect to a server on the Internet, similar to teamviewer. it costs nothing to dream :) Regards. [Pharo-project] Pharo 2.0 feels great

by Sven Van Caekenberghe

A quick note: I just played a little bit with Pharo 2.0 and it feels great. I really love the fact that Nautilus and some other stuff is just there. Beautiful out of the box experience ! Thanks, Sven PS: Opening the Config browser gives: 'Could not access http://www.squeaksource.com/MetaRepoForPharo20: ZnHttpUnsuccessful: 404 Not Found' the repo does not exist (yet).

I did integrate what you said in the first mail of this thread. Ok, but the first mail only include the one part of the problem. The patch in 5487 should be more complete, no? Or does it break stuff?
